Day Activities in Seattle

Image From Wikipedia
We all can get cabin fever staying in our home for too long. Equinox Apartments is a great place to live, and they are also in a great location to many great Seattle trips and activities. There are activities for all types of people in Seattle.  Adventure, relaxation, and history are just a few options you have to explore close to home. Here are a few we think you may like to try.

iFly Seattle

Did you ever want to skydive, but the idea of jumping out of a plane was just a little to much for you to handle.  iFly Seattle is your perfect compromise then. How does indoor skydiving sound? You wear a jumpsuit and are suspended in midair by massive fans that sound like a jet engine. You are assisted by pros, but you get the amazing feeling of being weightless. As you get more advanced, you can learn to some tricks and different maneuvers.  This short little trip is just 20 minutes southeast.

Bird Watching

Bird watching may sound boring, but this is not your normal bird watching experience. In the Skagit Wildlife Area, you can see thousands of snow geese migrating off the mudflats at the Bay. It is like watching a nature movie come to life.  Snow geese are not the only birds you are able to see at Skagit. Bald Eagles, Sandpipers, and sometimes even swans can be seen at the many viewing areas. This great location is only about an hour north of Seattle.

Get Out In Nature

Woodlands, animals, and a flaming geyser are all waiting for you at Auburn Park.  You can see a flaming geyser in your exploration of this national park. However, that is not the only thing you can do on this hour drive southeast. You can also tube on the Green River before watching the mini airport of model airplane enthusiasts perform aerial feats.
