This week is all about gathering together the best and most creative minds in the city to collaborate and learn. Made In Seattle Week has partnered with the Seattle Met to bring you the best of the best. Experts in their fields, including tech, food, music, design and beer, will be here every single day this week.
Today kicks off with Trending in Tech. The keynote speakers come from the top tech companies in Seattle. The speakers will each share their views on innovation when it comes to the world of technology as well as how technology can change a traditional industry, how corporations can foster brilliance in the startup scene and how company culture can be used to foster creativity and innovation.
Tuesday brings with it Food for the Future. Restaurants and other food-related businesses in Seattle come together to talk about food sustainability and food culture. Leaders on different sides of the food industry discuss their takes on the biggest concerns for food, such as fair wages and practices for farmers, and sustainability in a tough environment.
On Wednesday, the speakers hail from Seattle-born design oriented companies. They’ll speak on how to achieve groundbreaking design in our culture and economy. Local designers will share their experiences in crossing the boundaries of the digital and physical realms, as well as hardware design, disrupting the workflow and workspace, and sharing an informed look at the future of digital design.
